Disclosure: I’ve been compensated by Tide to create this post and share my personal experiences with new Tide #purclean. Opinions are my own. This post contains affiliate links.
2016 has been a year of getting back to basics for me. Remembering to breathe, to keep things simple, and to do more with less have been my focuses. From the great purges to get rid of ‘stuff’, streamlining our diets to heal/grow/sustain our bodies, using more natural health products, to smaller things like choosing more environmentally sustainable cleaning products such as Tide purclean when I do the laundry, each little change that I have made has made us a more efficient, Earth-friendly family.
Tide is encouraging all of us to share the things we are doing to protect the environment. They even asked the Maneater herself (I cannot think of award-winning Nelly Furtado without singing Maneater, sorry) to add her voice to the cause:
“As a parent, I consider the products, and their ingredients, that I use at home and with my family, as well as making sustainable choices whenever I can. This includes how we conduct our laundry—washing with cold water, limiting the amount of loads per week and choosing the right laundry detergent,” said Furtado. “I’m thrilled that a brand I trust, like Tide has created an environmentally-friendly laundry detergent that actually works, but is also gentle on fabrics. I’m honored to team up with them as they launch NEW Tide purclean and work with Tide to bring attention to WWF-Canada’s Count for Nature movement, and invite Canadians to take action with me.”
From now, until November 30, 2016 at 11:59PM EST, every time someone tweets to @Tide, sharing an action they take to help the environment, using both #purclean and #CountForNature, Tide will donate $1 to WWF-Canada’s Count for Nature Campaign.
I’m a helper, so I’ll make this even easier by giving your this one-click template! Just fill in the blank with what you are doing to help the environment (or, of course, simple head to Twitter and start tweeting!). I’m really looking forward to reading your tweets! (again, please COMPLETE the tweet by removing the —- and then adding in what steps you are taking to #CountForNature).
