By luck of the draw, I received the new Wave-Action Blender in Metallic Red (53516C). This blender is bringing sexy back. I have a similar model already, but I’m loving this metallic red pop on my kitchen counter. Blenders have so many uses at breakfast time – of course we automatically go right to smoothies, but the internet is full of delicious blender muffin recipes, and then there is blender Hollandaise sauce, something which I should have never realized existed; it’s so easy I want to put it on all the things.
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- salt and pepper
In blender, combine lemon juice, egg yolks and a shake of salt and pepper. Blend to combine. Very slowly pour hot, melted butter into the blender (through the hole in the cover) while the blender is still running. Use immediately, but if you have to keep it warm for a little bit, put the blender jar in a large bowl of very warm water.
